Abstract: The paper offers effective oscillation criteria for solutions of the second order non-linear differential equation $ (r(t)g(x(t))x^\prime(t))^\prime+Q(t)f(x(t))=0, $ where $r, Q:[t_0,\infty)\to (0,\infty)$, $g:\mathbb R\to (0,\infty)$ and $f:\mathbb R \to \mathbb R$ are continuous functions.
